Born some 70 years ago under the thick smoke of the steel mills and the coking factories along the Ruhr river in Germany, I have lived the last 30 years in Rome, the city I discover every day better with curiosity and awe particularly when I can do this in company with open-minded visitors who are ready to confront themselves with the witness of fellow humans over the last 3000 years, expressed monumentally in stone, marbel, colour, trying to answer in their own way problems, questions, and mysteries that remain open.

I was born and I live in Rome. I have a degree in Art History and Archaeology . I studied at the Third University of Rome, the Art Faculty was inside the ancient roman Diocletian Baths.. from the window I could observe the ancient ruins. I like roman and greek art and also the baroque art.
I took some examinations about the modern art and mostly about six hundred so I studied better Bernini, Borromini and my favorite Caravaggio.
But during my course I was keen on Archeology and I took part in excavations in Italy, in etruscan sites and abroad in Carnuntum (Austria), where the roman legions were in defense of the Danube border. From 1990 I keep on with my studies on Rome and surroundings working with Cultural Associations of the Eternal City both for schools and grown-up people.
I am communicative, careful and very fond of Rome and its beauty because: to know Rome its not enough a lifetime!
